Happy 2019, everyone! Is it just us or do the years feel like they are flying by these days? Before we get too far into the new year, let's not forget to take a look back at the one that's just passed and make note of all the truly great gaming experiences we got out of it. As it turns out, 2018 was a pretty fantastic year for video games - and we have quite a bit of praise to heap on some of them. Since another year has come and gone, that means it is time once again for us to announce our picks for the top 12 greatest games to come out over the last 12 months. It wasn't an easy job, and it's a safe bet our selections won't resonate with everyone, but we feel pretty happy with them. So without further ado, we proudly present, the 12 best games of 2017.

Just like that, another year has come and gone. Now that 2016 is over, it's time to share our picks for the top 12 games from the last 12 months. As usual, the year offered up dozens of great titles to choose from and whittling down our list to a mere 12 was no easy task. However, we feel pretty good about our selections and we are fairly confident that you will agree with at least a few, if not several of them. So without further ado, we present to you, the 12 best games of 2016:

2015 is done. Actually it has been for a couple of weeks now. But it is far from forgotten. Especially in terms of all the superb games that it brought us. If we were to list every single one of them, there would be scores, if not hundreds, of beautiful, groundbreaking, highly entertaining titles. But this is a best-of list, so that means we have to limit things to only the very best. Therefore, with this being 12/12 Games, we thought it only appropriate to pick what we considered to be the 12 greatest games of 2015.
