Also out in the last four weeks, Capcom's 7th (or 8th, or 9th, depending on how you look at it) main installment to the (mostly) fantastic Resident Evil series, Sega's brand new prequel to the excellent Yakuza series, and a new sequel to Namco (Bandai)'s (mostly) fantastic Tales RPG series. The Tower awaits... Jump past the break to see more new releases from the past four weeks.
Apologies for not updating for a month. Our bad. This week, Ys Origin has finally come to PlayStation. Originally released for PC several years ago, until this week, Origin was the only official Ys entry that hadn't yet made its way to a Sony console. Ys Origin takes place centuries before the other titles and is a great place to start if you are new to the popular RPG series.

We here at 12-12 Games hope everybody had a nice Valentine's week. Seemingly in honor of the holiday (or perhaps we should say for honor), Ubisoft released a special present to lovers of medieval combat everywhere. In their new game, For Honor, you can choose to play as a knight, samurai, or Viking in a fantastic medieval setting and engage in bloody hand-to-hand combat with the opposing factions. It's been a little while now since this game was first shown at E3 a couple years ago. Hopefully, it was worth the wait.
Also out in the last three weeks, Sniper Elite 4 (Italia), the PC version of the best-selling Nintendo 64 hit, Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire, and the second entry in Nippon Ichi's very popular Disgaea series. When the world's greatest warriors collide, who will reign supreme? Jump past the break to see more new releases from the past three weeks. Today is a very special day in the world of sports. It's Super Bowl Sunday! And I, myself, am especially excited. That's because my second favorite team, the Atlanta Falcons, are playing today and they have a very good chance of finally winning their first Super Bowl! (Yes, I have two favorite teams. Get over it.)
In all honesty though, being a fan of watching football is a fairly recent thing for me. Growing up, I was never really all that into it. I did enjoy playing it, however. Particularly the video game versions. As a matter of fact, I've been enjoying them in one form or another since the late '80s. Here is a list of 6 of my favorites. |
