As on the PlayStation Store, the big Steam release this week was The Evil Within 2 (too). Whether it's Friday the 13th, or just over two weeks to Halloween, The Evil Within 2 is the perfect game for the occasion. Just make sure you've got some adult diapers handy cause you may piss yourself. Tango Gameworks knows how to bring the horror.

Also out in the last month, a bunch of other stuff I mentioned last week, plus other rad fighter, Killer Instinct, surprisingly well-made platformer, A Hat in Time, and the incomparable Cuphead. Just remember what we said about the diapers. Jump past the break to see more new releases from the past four weeks.

New PlayStation Store Releases: The Evil   Within 2

Happy Friday the 13th! (In October, no less!) To celebrate this extra-festive day, Tango Gameworks has released the much-dreaded (in a good way) sequel to their 2014 debut horror hit, The Evil Within. As you may or may not know, Tango Gameworks was founded by the acclaimed director of Resident Evil(s) 1 and 4, Shinji Mikami. His key involvement with both of the Evil Within games has lead some to consider them a spiritual successor to the Resident Evil franchise. Whether you agree with that or not, you'd certainly be hard-pressed to find a more appropriate pair of games to play in October (or on Friday the 13th, for that matter).

Also out in the last month, Slightly Mad's hotly-anticipated follow-up to Project Cars, Capcom's 4th entry in their epic crossover fighting series, Marvel Vs Capcom, and the third main installment to the excellent Danganronpa series. "The only way out is in." Jump past the break to see more new releases from the past 4 weeks.
