Also out this week, a port of the PlayStation 1 sequel to an oddball Super Nintendo platformer about a Japanese girl with a fishing rod, a port of a shoot 'em up that previously only appeared on Xbox Live Arcade (and a few Japanese arcades), and a three-dimensional fighting game based on a popular animé series. Round up some friends and head to back to the academy, then jump past the break to see more of this week's new releases.
Now on 12/12 Games, you can peruse the weekly Steam releases. Stop by each weekend and check out all the highlights from the past seven days! This week, the standout title was Mighty Switch Force Academy. The third main title in the Mighty Switch Force series, Academy more closely resembles the fantastic first entry, but with the addition of a very welcome multiplayer component. This time around, you can bring up to three friends to join in the puzzle-solving fun. Whether you are already a great fan of the series or are just hearing about it for the first time, this entry is definitely worth a look.
