More news out of E3 2016. Nintendo aired their live video presentation yesterday and it was unfortunately quite pathetic. They only had two games to show off. Two. One for each of the two game systems they are currently "supporting". And one of those games won't even be released until some time next year.

The way Nintendo has been struggling as of late, it's somewhat difficult to imagine that they were once the undisputed king of the gaming landscape. Oh, how the mighty have fallen. One wonders why they even bothered presenting anything for E3 this year (or just how long they can manage to sustain interest in their products in the face of such a significantly apparent lack of effort on their part).

At least one of the two games they showed was The Legend of Zelda (even though it's the same game they've already been teasing fans with for the last two years). This year they did finally confirm the title though, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. We also got to see some new gameplay elements such as horse wrangling, wall climbing, grass burning and food crafting. The game kind of looks to be a mixture of Red Dead Redemption, Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, The Elder Scrolls, and the Zelda universe (which sounds pretty fantastic, actually).

In case you missed their presentation, you can check out the trailer after the break. It's pretty much all they have to offer you right now.
