This week marks the debut of Gearbox Software's new MOBA-infused first-person shooter, Battleborn. In Battleborn, you play as one of 25 unique characters in team-based, competitive online multiplayer matches. There is also a campaign mode in which you must attempt to save the last remaining star in the Universe from being extinguished by a mysterious evil. The story can be experienced either alone, or via online and/or split-screen co-op.
Also out in the past two weeks, a multiplayer, sci-fi twin-stick shooter called Alienation, a remaster of Epic Games' critically-acclaimed Metroidvania adventure, Shadow Complex, and a PS4 port of the PS2 port of the excellent Neo Geo fighting game, The King of Fighters 2000. You were born for this. Jump past the break to see more of this fortnight's new releases.
