Although this has certainly been another great week for shoot 'em ups, the biggest Steam release was a different type of arcade action game, Guilty Gear Xrd -Sign-. The latest entry in the popular 2D fighting game series, Guilty Gear Xrd is the first to use 3D cel-shaded graphics as opposed to the 2D sprites and cel animation that had been used previously. It is also the third title in the 17-year-old series to be released on Steam.
Also out this week, the final chapter in the Final Fantasy XIII series, and a pair of great shoot 'em ups (Raiden Legacy and Helldivers). Heaven or hell. Duel 1. Let's rock! Jump past the break to see more of this week's new releases.
