After 3 years in development, the highly-anticipated spiritual successor to Capcom's famous blue bomber has finally arrived. While not quite living up to the mega-hype of its predecessor, Mighty No 9 does manage to exist as a pretty decent action platformer in its own right. As long as you know ahead of time not to go in expecting Mega Man 2.0, you might just come away satisfied with the experience.
Also out this week, a new variant of the classic formula, Pac-Man 256, a very cool-looking (and completely free) fan-made Half-Life game called Transmissions -Element 120-, and Drawful 2, a drawing-based party game from Jackbox Games. Get mighty, then jump past the break to see more of this fortnight's new releases.
