This week, Nintendo fans finally get to try out one of the best titles 2017 had to offer: Battle Chasers: Nightwar. The game is an entertaining, traditional Japanese-style RPG based on the late '90s comic book series by Joe Madureira (also known for the first two Darksiders games). Nightwar was actually created by Madureira's new studio, Airship Syndicate, so everything looks and feels fantastically true to the comics.

Also out in the last two months, the incredible, original arcade version of Nintendo's Punch-Out!! (for the first time anywhere, other than the arcade); a feature-enhanced remake of the cult classic Super Nintendo game, Wild Guns; and more than a few exceptional Neo-Geo classics. Battle, explore, craft, and survive, then jump past the break to see more new releases from the past 9 weeks.

  • (Arcade Archives) Punch-Out!! (Nintendo, 1 player, $7.99)
