Welcome back to the New Nintendo eShop Releases! It's been a little while since our last post and, during that time, all three Nintendo systems have received some exciting titles. This week, the most exciting release is none other than the Wii U Virtual Console game, Bonk's Revenge. Revenge, of course, was the sequel to the Turbo-Grafx 16 console mascot classic, Bonk's Adventure. As far as mascot sequels go, Revenge is more of a Sonic 2 than a Super Mario 2, in that it was simply a refinement of everything that worked so well in the original (as opposed to just being totally different and/or more frustrating). Basically, if you liked Bonk's Adventure, you can't go wrong with Bonk's Revenge. Now let's hope that Nintendo brings Bonk 3 to the Wii U as well.
Also out in the last two months, the puzzle juggernaut mashup, Puyo Puyo Tetris, a fun little Mario Sports anthology for the 3DS, and a 1942-inspired shoot 'em up that somehow manages to be superior to its own source material. Bonk is back! Jump past the break to see more new releases from the past 60 days.
