The Notable New Game Releases: Darksiders: Genesis

Welcome back to the now notable new game releases. This week featured the release of the latest entry in the Darksiders franchise, Darksiders: Genesis, which saw the much-needed return of Joe Mad(ureira) and his other ex-Vigil coworkers (now at Airship Syndicate) to the series. Other reasons to be excited about this game (as if that wasn't enough by itself) include the fact that this game is actually a series prequel that mixes things up with a top-down, loot-focused, action RPG style, the fact that it features optional two-player co-op this time around, or the fact that it finally introduces Strife, the long-awaited gun-toting fourth horseman, to the franchise.

Also out just recently, Steam versions of Halo - The Master Chief Collection and Red Dead Redemption II, and a Switch version of the scary-as-hell (but in a good way) Alien: Isolation. Fight through Hell and back, then jump past the break to see more new releases from the last three weeks.
